Example Solution In this example, a mobile worker (e.g. an insurance sales person) can securely connect to customer service applications residing in his corporate office's server. The HSDPA router will establish an encrypted connected with the office's VPN server and assign an 'local IP address' to the mobile worker's laptop - this allows the laptop to work seemlessly with the server's applications, as if he is actually plugged into the LAN port at his desk.
