Example Automatic Internet Access Backup Application > WAN ADSL, DSL or Cable Backup using a HSPA Router A break-down in high-speed internet access will critically affect most businesses and organizations. Fast 'wired' internet access connections like ADSL, DSL, Fiber and Cable can be automatically backed-up with a 'wireless' solution like a 3G HSPA (HSDPA or HSUPA), EVDO or WIMAX connection. A smart wireless router can automatic detect if a company's primary internet access link e.g. an ADSL connection is faulty and immediately switch-over to a back-up wireless link. This implementation ensures operation continuity when its main connection is disrupted, e.g. faulty modem hardware, cabling or even service provider outages. A DUAL WAN router is not needed. |
